What does blogging meant to you?
For it’s enjoyable but also a hassle at times and gets on my nerves. Like a baby I love so dearly (okay I love my son more) but it also gets on my nerves. I’m not sure if anyone else feels it, but sometimes I feel like there’s a pressure over my shoulder to go and post something even when I don’t feel like it. And the more I feel that feeling, the more I stay away. But staying away also means not reading or commenting on my favorite bloggers post. However, if I visit WordPress just to read then I’m back to the first problem.
I know I can always schedule blog post, but… sigh…
What about you? Any blogging issues?

Yes yes it is Jess. I get to let it all out through blogging with a few twists here and then 😊😋😄😄😂

I love blogging. It calms my blazing neurons and stops I from cringing in rage to many people I encounter and would love to 👊 in the neck 😃😃😂😂

😂 that’s makes blogging therapeutic for you then…

Same problem dear Jess!
Sometimes I’m so busy that I really don’t have time to write my posts or read and comment the blogs I follow…then if I don’t do it I feel bad…
Blogging is a responsibility and a commitment but as everything we must also make it enjoyable! We need to find that balance that works…For me, for now, is like finding the needle in the haystack 😀😀😀
Jessica E. Larsen
Haha 😀 that’s so much like what I feel many times.

I love blogging and writing every day. The hardest part for me is trying to keep up with reading posts. I just can’t handle reading 1500 posts every day. I don’t like getting behind in reading but it always seems to happen. And reading a lot can get in the way of writing. Sigh. Still fun anyway, and most of my followers understand when I’m not there right away to read. Happens with people reading my blog too, it’s just hard to keep up. But never give up, keep it fun even if you have to cut back a bit to make it more fun. Have a great weekend Jessica!😁😸😻

“I just can’t handle reading 1500 posts every day.”
And that’s why I try to keep my post inside 500 words or if possible half of that.
“I don’t like getting behind in reading but it always seems to happen. And reading a lot can get in the way of writing.”
😭 Me too! I hate it when that happens.
I always read your post no matter how long… however, sometimes if I already read a lot, my brain short circuits and I’m lost for words so I just click like haha 😀

I have been trying to keep my posts below 500 words now too. Gets a little hard sometimes with the kind of posts I write,🤔🙄 but my average is now 492 words, 😃better than the 960 word average it used to be!😀
Yep, my brain short circuits like that too and I just click like!😂But I do read the post.
It can be a hard thing to find the right balance. I enjoy reading other blogs, but I also need time to write my own posts. Sigh. Maybe I’ll get it figured out yet.🤔😂😹🙄
Jessica E. Larsen
Yup. Finding the balance is the hard part… sigh. Good luck Steve ❤️

Keep trying is what I will do.😀😺

I know!! I think the issue is that ordinary life goes so much slower, I mean a situation can last for days or a feeling can remain untouched for years and to keep the pace of blogging every day is not easy… We need to process things…
I don’t know, querida, I’m kind of loosing my voice here jajaaj but I know you get me
Jessica E. Larsen
Oh cariño, yep, that’s exactly it. Living in two different world isn’t as easy to handle… sigh, still so glad that you still blog 🙂

I guess since writing a vampire novel packed with current events, geopolitics and satire is basically like my full time job and since I write my vampire novel on-line, I blog every day.
Sometimes when I sit down to write, I’m not sure what to write but I always end up writing something.
Jessica E. Larsen
I guess it always help be consistent. Write everyday. The problem with me is that I can’t always do it when it comes to blogging… sigh.

I can certainly relate; I feel guilty when I fall a day or two behind on reading my favorite bloggers…
Jessica E. Larsen
Yes, that’s actually the most horrible feeling about blogging. Even though I’m sure they know it isn’t true, I still worry that my blogging friends will think that I no longer care 😭
Damyanti Biswas (@damyantiwrites)
Most of us will be able to relate to you on this one!
Jessica E. Larsen
Haha 😀 glad to know it…
Simon
Ha ha ha 😂 can’t lie, it is 😁 totally relatable. But i see that’s a good thing because it get rid of my anxious thoughts and keep myself thinking about posts and content. which actually saves me from useless zoned out to zoned out for a purpose 😂😂. Its worth it isn’t it😉✨😜. Also some beautiful comments ot posts will make our day more energetic so why miss all the fun.. 😉🤗
Jessica E. Larsen
This is true too… but sadly there are day (or days) when blogging feels like a burden… sigh. But with all said and done, I still love blogging. I just feel like ranting about it today 😉 haha 😀

Blogging for me used to feel cathartic. But sometimes it doesn’t work out that way and I don’t feel the vibe to write, but try to force myself to. Then there’s the issue of unwanted aggression, and that ruins the vibe, too. So, I went private on my blog and we’ll see if that changes my outlook.
Jessica E. Larsen
Yeah, the feeling of that you have to force yourself is horrible.
You went private? When did that happen? No wonder I haven’t seen your post in the feed for a while now.
I hope all the aggressive attacks towards you stops. I don’t get why some bloggers want to be mean to you at all 🙁
The V Pub
I went private last Friday. It just got too weird with one particular blogger. I sent you in an invitation to the email associated with your blog. Writing a blog is like writing anything else. I think we all get that writers block and it’s tough to get back in the groove at times.
Jessica E. Larsen
If it’s only last friday, then I did not see post from you because WordPress sometimes filter away from older blogs I followed. Unfair 🙁
But thanks Rob ❤️ I did not receive any email about the invite, so I decided to request an invite. Hopefully that will get through 🙂
The V Pub
I wonder if I have the correct email address? I used the one associated with your blog. And I’ve just approved you and hope to see you there soon! 🙂
Jessica E. Larsen
I got it! Thanks Rob ❤️

I have been feeling the same way lately.
Jessica E. Larsen
Sigh… it’s not a good feeling at all.
Accidental Blogger
Haha! So relatable.
I beleive we all start it as a fun and as we our Blog grows, we start putting pressure on ourselves to be consistent. And it all gets messed up 😅
Yeah, we can open wordpress to just read when we aren’t posting. But I often don’t feel like doing it. Maybe because it reminds me that I’m not posting on my blog 😅😅
Jessica E. Larsen
Exactly! That’s exactly what I’m feeling! 😂
