Truth is a lie (#1)

truth is a lie
Picture from Winnie

Un Jin-Hwan gazed at the giant trees in front of him and frown at the unexplainable feeling which spread in his chest. He lost his memories and only pieces remain. And from those pieces, he knows that he was no longer in Earth, he was a Korean orphan who joined a spaceship bound for another solar system with no hope of return, his clearest memory was wooing a woman called Xehan from planet Cygnus, the planet which Xehan told their ship crash. The accident which caused his memory loss.

A female arm with slender fingers and almond-like skin color wrapped around him his shoulder.

“In deep thoughts again?”

“Um.” He put his hand on top of hers and turn to face her. Xehan, was one of the smallest Cygnuye he ever met, but still, she was more than a half foot taller than him, and that alone often makes him wonder. But when gazing at her cat-like golden eyes and friendly sweet smile his heart melts.

“Want to tell me?”

He shook his head. He let go of her hand and beckoned her down. She did and he immediately pulled her for a kiss. He never imagined falling this way, but at the end of the day, she makes the incomplete puzzle of his life perfect.

Xehan’s heart broke as Jin-Hwan set her lips free. His kisses gave her both joy and horrible guilt. She looked at the giant trees now glowing in the darkness of the night. Aside from the two moons like jewels in the sky, the trees looked so much like Supertree Grove back on Earth except Cygnus giants aren’t mechanical.

Xehan smiled as Jin-Hwan pulled her direction home, but in the back of her mind, a question repeatedly echoed: “Will he still love me if he knows the truth?”
