Regrets
Time heals, they say. It’s true, but some pain leaves a huge scar that hurts each time I see it.
I’ve done so many things I regret in my life, a couple which involves death.
It kills me each time I think that I can never go back and say “Hey, I’m truly sorry for all the horrible things I’ve said and done. Because despite everything, I love you.” Now that they’re gone, it’s too late to make it up for them.
If you have regrets and it’s still possible to fix. Never wait till it’s too late.

the past is gone and we can do nothing about it, but we should learn from it so when the situation again arrives, we will not (hopefully) repeat. if it was about a death, i am sure the person knows how you feel.

Regrets are hard, and we all have them! And death definitely makes the regret worse but we have to forgive ourselves for things we can’t change.

I’ve long forgiven myself for stupid things and things I couldn’t change, but we never forget. Oh well, it’s a life lesson. 🙂

Thanks Joseph. Sadly I must disagree. There are things in life that comes too late, but optimism is a very positive trait and when too late comes, it will guide us to do the next best thing.

I often say we are so quick to say mean things and so reluctant to apologize or say beautiful things.
Once expressed, words can never be taken back.
And once a person is gone, we will never have the opportunity to set things straight.
