Moonlight Shadow
When the night is dark
But the moon is bright
Everything feels right
Because you’re holding my hand
at the shadow of the moonlight
The song below was inspire by my poem… 😒
Joke! Ok? Joke!
The poem and the song just happened to compliment each other for me. This poem was inspired by the moon, two night ago when I stepped out to get some fresh 🙂

Wow, the poems small but it’s soul is very vast. Speaks on many levels. Not everyone sees the moon with that perspective. Love it ❤️

Thank you for a heartwarming feedback 💘 I think every romantic person will be able to appreciate this feeling if they look at the night sky now and then…

Dear Jessica,
I concur with Simon prathap! Moreover, your poem rhymes quite well and is an affirmation of (romantic) love.
Since I write mainly rhyming poems, I do appreciate your effort and poetry. Well done!
It is clear that you show a great degree of enthusiasm towards, and affinity with, the moon and its hypnotic power over lovers.
Therefore, I would like to resonate with you and your poem by introducing you to the enchanting poems and images published in a post whose title is “If My Name Were Moon Tonight…”, available at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2012/10/02/if-my-name-were-moon-tonight/
The first poem as titled has end rhymes, internal rhymes as well as rhythmic devices, syllabic schemes, and other subtle or overt features.
May you and Simon find this forthcoming autumn and the rest of the year very much to your liking and highly conducive to your writing, thinking and blogging!
