Dawson’s Creek

Who else has a love-hate feeling for this series? I discover Dawson Creek at a television replay at the end of my teenage years. I become a shut in that year because new country, new life, no friends.

Dawson Creek become a source of comfort. When I couldn’t continuously watch it on TV, I turn to internet.

The mere sight and sound of the season 1 opening hurts like hell to watch…

I honestly love the atmosphere of the series, and I cheered Dawson and Joey at the start.

But I was in love with Pacey Witter from the moment he started he to show his personality. I love his complex, troubled teen, bad boy, but so damn swoon worthy personality.

Pacey: “The simple act of being in love with you is enough for me ”
Me: Swoon 😍

I know Dawson is the main person in the series, but damn, I was happy when Joey ran to Pacey. I stopped watching the series in that season (probably 3rd or 4th? Not sure).

But I recently read in some old review that they will actually truly be together in the end, so I think I’ll be watching the rest of the series soon. I want to rewind those magical, sad and happy times.

And I’m not forcing you to go and see it either. 😒 Just keep in mind that I won’t have so much time for you the next couple of weeks unless you voluntarily watch it 😄 Joke. It’s a nice series, I love it especially because it’s a series where the second lead got the girl. 😁

I remember watching a few of the episodes when our kids were probably about the same age as the actors; don’t really remember much except for the fact that Katie Holmes ended up marrying Tom Cruise!

I honestly only read books. I’m not sure why, but I can’t focus my attention to watching all the seasons and episodes. I finished a book recently called Sweet Dreams-I thought it was very well written and actually realistic. Its genre is romance but it’s not like in your face kind of romance book. It’s just an everyday life type of book. I’m not sure why but I thought you’d like it :3

I prefer to read books before too, but lately I started appreciating series that I can binge to the end.
And oh my god Nour! Thank you so much for reminding me! You’re right, that is my type of book! I used to rent Sweet Dreams series from local thriftbooks stores, now it’s my wish to get the collection 😍

I’m incapable of binge-watching xD. Oh My God, SERIOUSLY? Someone to fangirl with xD. There’s an app called AllBooks. The old one is free and it has the series in one book, if you want. Do you know any similar books???

That’s a lot of old series 🙄😉 I am not amazed you being a fan of these series. 😉☺️ I also suggest you watch the Korean dramas, my wife is a huge addict for that. She keeps watching it, all I could see is similiar faces, I had hard time identifying the gender of actors 😂 I stopped watching it. Have a beautiful day Jessica ✨💐🤗

A lot? All the clips is from the same series. But it is a long series. 😀 And I love (English language) series from the 90s.

😂 We’re in the same boat! I’ve been watching Kdrama way back from 2004 and but I can count on my fingers those that I bother to finish because even if the story is good I can’t tell them apart. Yes, the male and female looked similar (thanks to surgery) I mentioned it in one of my post before, Suddenly seventeen: https://diaryofaconfusedwriter.com/suddenly-seventeen-revived-post/

Oh but if you want to watch a K-drama with Nisha where you can easily tell the actors apart look for “Because This Is My First Life” from 2017. It’s a good story about “contractual marriage” I will review it later.

This is what I say Long series 😜 😂 but it’s not like indian serials that they play it for years…🙄 I hate the serials played in my country, I should Call them “serial killers”. They are serial killers. K drama is indeed nice one, there is so much love to watch and learn from it. I don’t watch with Nisha, she watches like 6 episodes a day, I don’t have patience 😜😉. But face surgery is new that I’m read now. Why do they want to look same 🙄 we are a unique version isn’t it. Someone teach them a lesson pls. Thank u so much dear Jessica 🥰 Thanks for the recommendation. My first Thing is to share this with Nisha 😁. Have a beautiful day ✨💐
